UPSC – Universitatea Pedagogică de Stat “Ion Creangă” is a higher education institution, which aims at the initial and continuous higher lever training of specialists in the fields of Educational Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts, Sciences and Social Assistance, providing them with competitive professional qualifications on the labor market, as well as guidance in the development of scientific research activity and the exploitation of their results.

The strategic plan of the UPSC is developed in accordance with the provisions of ongoing reforms in the national and European education University’s mission: pedagogical training of teaching staff and innovation of education sciences, through inter-and trans-disciplinary research.
