Oikumena

The Public Association «Oikumena» represents an NGO – an apolitical, public and non-profit association that was established through a partnership of a group of people in 1999 and that is interested in the promotion and implementation of Geographical Information Systems for the protection of the environment.

At the moment, the association consists of 23 professionals from different fields such as IT, GIS, remote sensing, geography – who have promoted and implemented geospatial projects in accordance with world (OGC, ISO) and European (INSPIRE) standards.

Oikumena has considerable experience in various fields, from cadastre, mapping, cadastral mapping and data conversion, to the development of ecological tourism.
